Congrats on Gran Via! She's one of my fav J-Dolls with such a natural, boyish look. And her stock looks amazing on Pullips.

Thank you everybody smile
That really is the goofiest skirt I've ever seen. Why is it all bunched up in the back like it is? It looks ok from the front... but the back is just weird LOL

I sewed the foldings around the waist straight on the dress when I removed it, I didn't like it was kinda saggy bag when I removed her from the box. I think mine looks really nice now. :3

Your Gran Via is so pretty too! Mine has new wig, I should take pics of the 2 of them I got home already...

Well, this gang sure multiplied from the original two... LOL
What better place for the blonde girls than a patch of buttercups? (Unfortunately there was also an ants' nest nearby and I had to brush them off the elbows of my bug shirt after every photo. Ugh!)

Isabelle started it; I originally was just going to take her out because she's newer and has the smallest photo portfolio, and I thought she'd match so nicely. But the rest of the gang wanted to come along...

Charonne's thinking Sound of Music?

How could I forget Robyn? She looked so reproachful when I went back in for her!

And we forgot Isabelle's hat in the first round of pictures.

Charonne was still dressed for winter -- wearing pink skates!! yay Fortunately they are hidden in the grass. She now has more seasonally appropriate footwear!

Oh, how I'd love to live in a place where people don't know what bug shirts are! LOL
This is a bug shirt: http://www.amazon.com/Bug-Baffler-Insect...B00F72ZGBY
And yes, you look stupid in it, and it's hard to see what you're doing, and it doesn't stop mosquitoes. But at least it keeps the blackflies off.

Wait, you have that many bugs IN CANADA ?! I live in the Deep South, and we don't need those shirts! D: What kind of climate do you guys HAVE up there?! I always thought that it was really cold and snowy that fat north.

Oh, you have so many pretty girls pictured again! Heart I like the outside pics so much, I noticed they had put flowers outside here too, so I can go take pics with some flowers outside now! I think the pics are worth of the bugs!
Now you got the blond gang, maybe you should get darker haired girls in the set next time? wink

And on a side note for fishy... At least we can have very warm summer here in Finland (which is always said to be equal with Canada on the climate and nature and such) and also have a lot of bugs in the summer. Tough there is less in big cities and more in the countryside, you get especially eaten up when visiting a cottage or fishing or something.

That's a good idea! The lupins are kind of too tall. I'll have to think about where to put them.

Well, you know... the three weeks of the year that it doesn't snow, we have bugs Tongue
My dad tells a story, somewhat apocryphal, about my grandfather once being approached by a carload of Americans with skis on top, who asked him how much farther they had to go to get to the snow. It was July LOL When he said, another couple thousand miles, they looked at him like he was crazy.
Seriously though, yes, they're a northern-woods kinda thing, the tinybugsfromhell.

;__; I've sometimes thought of moving to Canada because I thought you guys never had any bugs up there (I live in the Bug Paradise of the United States.) Guess that plan's out, then. :'x (Sorry about the threadjack!) sad

Not everywhere in Canada has bugsfromhell. I grew up in southern Ontario & while you might get a mosquito bite sitting outside in the evening, I never saw a blackfly till I moved to the east coast. Tongue
