Thank you everybody! I actually like her coat too. We don't really go in for frilly stuff around here...
Yep, we have a lot of bugs, I guess. And yes, Maycky-chan, they bite There are an awful lot of little ants in the yard. At least the carpenters left us alone this summer. (So far!) The blackflies can be hellish for 6 weeks... some summers, like this one, they're not too bad, and I guess because it's dry, there are surprisingly few mosquitoes at the moment. I worked in the garden this evening and only saw a couple!
Yes, like the gold eyelids! I did take a photo of Sara lying under the flower with one eye closed, but she looked a lil drunk so it didn't make the cut...
