Ah, Deuce! The only way to get Signature Cleo in the early days was to purchase the Deuce/Cleo 2-pack. Being more e
ensive than the single, figures, and also, at least where I lived, being much more heavily stocked, there was shelf after shelf of them sitting for months. I finally bought one, then sold the Deuce figure and kept the Cleo. In those early days, it was possible to sell loose MH figures for a pretty good return. Postage rates were more reasonable as well, so it was cost-effective to sell figures or accessories.
After those First Wave 2-packs were released, the MH boys were always extremely short-stocked where I lived. Many of them I never saw in person.
But it was always fun to venture in to stores to check out the Monster High sections of the toy aisles. It was like a treasure hunt. You never knew what you might find.
