Lily - Icy Custom and Poppy added 3/12

I got an Icy custom off of eBay back in December. I've been a little slow to take any photos of her.

I really love how vibrant and colorful her faceup is.

Icys can be rather homely, but not Lily. She's lovely!

Edit: 3/12/16 - and I had to hurry up and take some photos of Lily before I moved on to the latest arrival, Poppy.

She came from another Flickr member/Blythe collector, so you may have seen her before.

I see a pattern emerging where I fall for these colorful girls and then find out I have nothing for them to wear that really goes with their coloring. Fortunately, she can pull off this Darling Clover outfit. Although she may be stuck in it for awhile.

This is Edith, shes a custom ghost girl by Bees Dreamland here on DM. I adore her! I gave her a Playful Raindrops Scalp, and a Licca body.
I've actually have had her home for a very, very, long time now. but I've been wanting to give her sort of a grand entrance. So I thought resting her on a bed of gold flowers was in fact, the only way to do it.
I hope you guys like her as much as I do!

my first Blythe - Columbia <3

I thought I would share my first Blythe ever with you guys I never thought to own one as I don't like them stock and I can't afford them either.
My new girl is one of the factory Blythes, completely transformed by the wonderfully talented and sweet Mireya DeJesus She made the clothes and some jewellery, the chips, the charms on the eye thingys and the face of Columbia -- who is a fairly shy girl with 'goth tendencies' as I described her lol. Mireya even took photos for me so I could share her with everyone.
I sit and play with her incredible head of hair. She has been my companion since she arrived - if anyone had ever told me I would love a blythe this much I would have said something really sarcastic

Imogen's Adventures Vol 2 (Spring)

I'm kinda (very) late uploading these, but back in May I took my favourite Blythe girl Imogen out for a day of cycling in the countryside

Past the river (and the house where I grew up!) is one of my favorite routes. It's so peaceful, and it smells great right after the rain - very earthy and sweet

We stopped here on a bench on top of a hill and let the breeze drift by as we caught our breath.

The view from here sure is beautiful. Just green and blue as far as the eye can see.

The nice thing about a quiet country road is...nobody there to stare at you as you squat in a field taking photos of your doll

You can tell it was spring - the cherry blossoms were in full bloom! I've always had special affection for this beautiful flower, which is why I asked Imogen's wonderful artist Bee to paint her eyelids this way. I think she did a great job, don't you? ^^

You might recognise the pony from another of my photo threads! He's a funny guy. He's very friendly and seems to like making special guest appearances during my dolly photoshoots, but he loses interest fast when he realises the dolls aren't edible

So many flowers in bloom! Unfortunately as you can see in the final shot, Imogen managed to lose the wing from her bee charm somewhere on this adventure - but her mummy went back and dug through dirt and leaves till it was found again xD (oh the things we do for our dolls!)

This is Melanie everybody, she's very very pretty she's a custom blythe by ZigandZag She has super pretty hair and a amazing face! She almost looks like a stock girl doesn't she! Her original base doll is RBL Angelica Eve. She has this super cool grey/green/brown dyed hair. Apparently at one point it was teal. However rit dye oxidized into this don't mind it I think it suits her.

Okay final introduction, at least for a month or so lol. Nadine is so so pretty she's a Icy doll custom by... I'm not sure. I found her on ebay awhile back and fell in love with her amazingness. Her hair is the most amazing shade of coral and her makeup is outstanding.
If anyone knows who customized her, let me know. I am very curious to her origins.
I promise next week I will take a photo of a pullip I just had so many blythes to introduce >.<

I was worried people thought I was getting out of pullips but I like to think of my love of them being consistent, however now blythes are now part of that consistentness. I actually still have pullips I want to buy like I really regret selling my "My Melody" so I decided that I will get another one someday. such a regret
I also have a new goal, actually responding to comments Im so bad at that.

Meet Lottie~ Lottie is a side part blonde 7 line kenner!! Kenners have been my dream for a very very long time! It's so amazing to finally own one! As you can see Miss Lottie here resembles a lemon with how yellow her face is!! Its okay tho I plan on restoring her to her original glory, I will most likely send her off for this. She might also see some new hair.
She is simply amazing and I love her to bits!
A little addendum to this, I'm still in shock of how good of condition she is! ( I mean minus the yellowing the hardest thing to fix ) She has no cracks at all even on her body, all her chips are shiny and pretty. Eyemech works perfect she has all her eyelashes and makeup even blush! The only thing (Other then that darn yellowing ) Is her hair. Its pretty good, in terms of kenner standards but in term of my standards I can't stand it her ends of frizzy and an uneven cut. Which is typical for the kenner side parts to have. It's just not for me unfortunately. I will try to fix it up as best as I can but it's a solid 80% chance she will get some lovely new golden locks.

She has the most beautiful glittery eyes. Every set has so much personality and she emotes so much! She somehow gives me so much personality!!
I love her dearly!
She is a Icy Doll full custom, by That.Sara.Girl on instagram.
She's so so incredible. Fun Fact: This dress is worn by multiple girls in introductory photos. I don't know why but whenever a new girl comes I like to put them in this dress. Its one of my favorite dresses so maybe that's why but I'm not sure.

She isn't QUITE done! I still gotta make her teeth (you can see the tail end of the clay in the corner of her mouth here) instead of just cramming some clay into her mouth to placehold... and she needs three new sets of chips (she is keeping these) and she needed some touchup after this and her wig is a wreck because it fell out of the hairnet and rattled around a box for a month and I hate these eyelashes (they're so CRUNCHY urgh!) but I am so excited I couldn't help posting her so far!

I've done repaints before but only tiny dolls and definitely no carving or anything! This was a really weird learning eerience. Definitely I can't figure out how other people sand their dolls totally smooth... I gave up eventually She has scuffs/etc. under the MSC but the freckles hide the worst of them as I placed them, uh, strategically... lol. Someone tell me how you get totally smooth Blythe faceplates!

Also I used really crappy pastels for this and I can tell orz. I miss my nice ones... if I make any more custom dolls I might have to invest in some, but since I don't think I'm good enough to sell my dolls and I've recently become really interested in stock Blythes I doubt I will!

My new LPS Blythe Pretty in Plaid her name is Lily Philly (Philly = filly like a horse because she comes with a horse ) I'm totally shocked by how much I love her!

Then I took my lovely blythe Fancy Pansy,named Dede, to a Art Fest in my town and we met a lovely lady who has always wanted to meet a blythe!!
