Sadly we only get the one, but some people here do a Christmas in July thing.

@Lejays17 ah thank you for the information that is pretty cool that they are based on things around the area .The people who made them must really love living around that place.

It didn’t really show on the pics, but some of the cows have hats and gloves on their horns and other knitted garments for locals who need them, but can’t really afford them during the colder months.

My pleasure Jubilee - part of the fun of the forum is learning all about the different places in the photos. And we like showing off some of the quirky places we visit. I need to remember to put site links in for some things so people can read a bit more if they wanted to.

I used up my creativeness this week with Elfy's photo, so here's an uninspired shot of a few of the girls with our new bigger TV.

Elfy was at work when it was delivered/installed this week, so I snapped the shot so he could see what it looked like in the lounge-room.  (now we just have to make the effort not to clutter up the top of the unit with junk like we have for the last 10 or so years...)

Felicity looks so cute next to Lottie, I must resist wanting Tiphona just so she could look cute next to my Florianne...

I don't really do it deliberately, but some of them "go together" better than others.  The ones on "display" tend to be the fancier dressed ones, so the Victorian / Steampunk ones look good together.

Lottie was looking for a new minion - Kit & Amelia both "abandoned" her to hang out with others.  She likes having someone to boss around, and Felicity doesn't mind being bossed around.

I posted a few weeks ago that I was doing an Advent calendar in July.  So all my photos this week have been of that - I'm going to do the whole thing in a single thread once they've been all opened, but today is "Day 6 - Crisp Apple Strudels" - the theme is "My Favourite Things" from The Sound of Music.
An added bonus was a stitch marker in the shape of a bee!
