Well, aren't they just the cat's meow! The cat's whiskers! The cat's pajamas, even!
Cats are twitchy. They rarely hold still long enough to capture a sharp photo. Apparently this is true even for cat-themed dollies.

Pretty photo of Raven, and your cat girls are fun colours all together.
That would be cool to see so many ravens. We have them here, but not in great big flocks. You'd see a family now and then. I also hope you can get some photos of them.
I bet the 100th was a big celebration. Hope the rain finally let up and you got to do something fun.

davidd - thank you!!!
Alliecat - thank you! Unfortunately, next chance to see those big amounts of ravens won't be until next fall, because they seem to only flock like that when they're coming, but after that they break into smaller groups and they also leave in small groups, the big flocks seem to be precaution when travelling in unpleasant weather...
Day 303
Do you remember little Count Orlok puppet from Day 146 - the Dracula Day? I decided that eventhough he's not, technically, a doll, he still deserves his own photo.

Love that photo of Howleen howling at the moon! Raven is gorgeous, too. Count Orlok is appropriately spooky for the season.

The Orlock puppet is marvelously creepy!
The round hands are a bit different than in the movie, though!

Cornflower Blue - thank you!!!
davidd - isn't he cute? There was a girl on last year's local Christmas market selling these tiny puppets, she had mostly puppets of characters from classic fairy tales, and among them this little treasure...
Day 304
Day before yesterday, I took Rosamunda Wilhelmina von Lebkuchenburg out for a Halloween photoshoot. The fog was to die for, and I wasn't sure if it will be there on Halloween, so I took these photos in advance. Today I took photo of Laura for my instagram.
One to show the 'spooky forest':
And one with filter, because filters are now my thing...
And this is the place where I took all these pics:
It was so wonderfully spooky, I didn't want to leave

Wow, what a great spooky forest! These are super. I love the pathway shot at the end, and the first one. A wonderful setting. Glad you got out to shoot these
Your little Count Orlok is also fun Halloween decor.

The spooky forest photos are gorgeous. Just the right thing for the season.
And the puppet is very cute.

Thanks everybody! I'm glad you like them, I had tons of fun taking them. I love that place in any weather, but it really is the best in fog, looking all creepy, kooky, mysterious and... such.
Day 305
Usually, spooky themes are for October, with Halloween as a grand finale, but I decided to do somewhat dark or scary (but mostly silly) photos from Howl At The Moon Day (a few days back) to Occult Day (which will be on November 18th).
"Aaaaah! A ghost!"
"...Really, Draculaura?"

Ah ha ha ha ha! Spectra is levitating! And her response to Lala is too funny!
You'd think, after 1600 years, Draculaura would be a little more hep to the abilities of her supernatural friends!

Your knowledge of American popular culture from a bygone era is most impressive!

davidd - haha, thanks! You see, during communism, no western shows were allowed here (because they could implant dirty 'imperialist' ideas into innocent comrades' heads), and after revolution, various TV stations started airing all American (and generally western) TV shows they could get their hands on for cheap, so the B&W Addams Family series from 60s got here in 90s. It was one of my favorite shows when I was a kid, and it is still! Also Groovie Goolies
Day 306
In my neck of the woods, Halloween isn't traditional holiday, and Halloween-related events have only been a thing for past few years. Traditionally, we celebrate All Souls' Day. I like celebrating both, because Halloween is crazy and fun, and All Souls' Day is quiet, meditative day meant for remembering and appreciating your dearly departed. Most common way to celebrate is to place flowers and light candles on graves, and cemeteries are so beautiful on this day! I really wanted to take a photo (there's a cemetery across the street), but it felt somewhat improper and disrespectful, so I didn't. As our family doesn't have any graves (my nanas are custodians of ashes of everyone from their part of the family - we're a weird bunch ), I took a dolly photo instead.

Haha, your levitating girl.
Pretty photo with the candles! I like that you thought about whether it would be respectful to take a cemetery photo. If there were people there, then no, maybe not (this happened to me once; the person in the car 'may' have been taking a picture of the pretty tree, but I wanted to yell "Hey! Am I in that??" ). But there can be lots of photo potential in cemeteries too. I could picture the flowers and candles a little, from your description.
I don't know if many in Canada bother with All Souls'/Saints Day. Maybe in some small religious communities, certainly not a widespread tradition. Too bad, because it sounds nice.
