Given where this is splinters wouldn’t bother me, it’s the rattlers that could be the concern.

Rattlesnakes are always a potential hazard, but in this case the girls are working well above the ground. Also, with the nights getting cooler, below freezing in fact, snakes, in theory at least, should be less of a concern at this time.

12 October – Slow but Steady Progress

Applying wood sealer to the wooden poles turned in to a multi-day project, but the weather was cooperative and the girls persevered.

It must be hard to use brushes this big! And working quite high above the ground on such a tricky surface (or lack thereof)! Kudos, girls!
