Becky’s such a professional with her knitting.
Wow, what a cute and intricate knit. And YAY for dolly enabling. Hope your friend greatly enjoys re-awakening her inner child smile
And yes, we all need to find nice and fun things to lift our spirits as we wait out the apocalypse.
Thanks all for appreciating the knitting - I do hope that she enjoys it as well.  And that she also enjoys her new Blythe too!

Elfy has all the fun footy shots this week - so here's Sophie with some of the gorgeous roses in our front yard.  We went fro a drive this weekend, but there wasn't anywhere to stop without crowds of people for dolly-pics.  So the front yard it was  LOL
The roses are lovely, though, and so many of them.
Sophie seems so content with the roses
This shot is just so beautiful. And I'm feeling Momori-enabled. Must... resisssst...
Wow I thought that rose was fake for a split-second, because of how perfect it looks! Amazing! Cute girl too. ♥
Crowds of people? Aren't you in Victoria, lock-down capital of the southern hemisphere?
She's very cute and looks like someone who would appreciate flowers smile
Your roses are so fluffy & full that I thought they were peonies at first glance.

Yes, but we are allowed out of the house for excersise.  And walking along the river is great excersise  LOL
She's adorable! I love how the slight blush on her nose is picked up by the pink of the flower.

So everybody walks along the river? At the same time? In the same place? Completely negating any effectiveness, already questionable at best, of the lockdowns? Okay. Sounds like... pretty much everywhere else, then!
yay

We’ve got lots of places to walk along the river (got more than one of them too  LOL ), the amount of people were a combination of things.
1. We could travel more than 5km from home
2. It was a Public Holiday (bank holiday)
3. The weather was nice for outside activities
4. Nothing was open, so people head for the parks
5. It might be always that busy, we haven’t been to that particular place in about 10 years.  Plus it looked like they were doing some upgrades/works to the car park areas so there was limited parking.
6. Everyone we saw of the appropriate age (under 12 are not required) were wearing masks properly, so this reduces chances of community transmission.

Tongue Tongue
The gorgeous roses in last week & this week's photos technically belong to the next-door neighbour, but as they hang over the border we use them as a backdrop a lot.  She thinks it's really cute that we take dolly-photos in the garden.

Jo-Meg & Sophie enjoy the swing in the garden

and davidd - we were out shopping today, and went to one of the department stores.  we saw these in the toy section & thought of you & your Yasmin  (and we didn't buy any of them - they were $100AU, so approx $70USD - and they didn't appeal to us that much!)

That's quite interesting to see these Bratz showing up in retail stores. These appear to be the "Special Edition" Bratz dolls released in 2018 as Amazon exclusives, an attempt to "re-boot" the Bratz franchise by returning to their edgy fashion roots. The re-boot did not catch on, I gather because the production dolls had quality issues and did not actually resemble the "teaser" promotional artwork that was circulated prior to the release. Plus, the price was too high, although not as high as what is being asked in your retail store!

Cool to see these dolls "in the wild," so to speak. Too bad about the extreme price point.
