Very beautiful. Looks like calendar photos.

Very nice posing. There’s nothing “doll like,” all the poses look relaxed and natural.
The selective focus among the flowers has a cool retro 1970 vibe!
The costume and hat are extremely pretty and nicely detailed. Is that the stock outfit for this Dolly or did you assemble the perfect summery wardrobe for her? Is that a tiny cameo on her hat?
Congratulations to you and your little wayfarers for your success in the PUDDLE photo competition.
Did PUDDLE already happen, or will you need to go in person to bask in the honor and the glory?

)
Thank you both
Probably one of this set will get into next year's calendar.
Yes, it's Abbi's stock outfit, and it is indeed a wee cameo. It has already had to be glued back on once, and fortunately did not come off outdoors.
PUDDLE was at the beginning of June. It was fun the 2 times I went, but it's really ex$pensive for just a weekend so at the moment it's not too likely I'll go again soon. Wish it was closer.
I sure haven't been taking many pictures, and even the one-a-week has been a struggle lately. I haz a funk
But Yuki arrived this week, brightened up the tough slog and gave me a mental-health afternoon out.
Welcome to the PTFCo crew, Yuki!
"What's this?"
"I dunno... Do you hear something...?"
"Whoa!"
"Um, hi."
"Look, she brought a pet."
"There's another critter in here too."
"That's nothing -- there was a SPIDER in MY box when I arrived."
"I'm Samantha, and this is Red. Welcome!"
"We got a sister!!"
"I wonder what adventures I'll have here."
Teaser for adventures to come:

Oh, that's right, there was a spider that accompanied Red in her shipping container! That was so funny!
Yuki is a cutie; if anything, she has more of a scowl than most Dals, although her scowl makes her look fierce rather than grumpy!
I see Yuki has already passed the "first test" to become a permanent resident: balancing on the porch railing without falling off and cracking her head open!
Once she learns she's been adopted in to a den of pirates, I suspect Yuki will be delighted with her new home! Let the mischief and mayhem commence!

Perfect weather and a sunny day and no other people on Dinosaur Beach! Looks like a great day to me!
Plus -- swords!
Yuki looks to be quite an accomplished adventurer already, ready to stake her claim to her new island home!
Is this the "fifteen minute drive" beach, or is this one closer?

Effectively posed "walking" pics with Robyn! Looks like a nice time, out gathering some of the last wildflowers of the season.
Butterfly No. 1 seemed amenable to posing! Although maybe it was hungry and was eyeing those flowers in Catherine's hair!

Edit Reason: what happened to my links?
)
Things are a bit of a mess around here these days... I'm not even doing that many photos. But when yet another day in a long series is a total writeoff and it's too late to even try to salvage it with any attempt at progress, you might as well make yourself feel better by taking some dolly photos, right?
Tess joined the crew in Texas in April. She's only now getting her first photoshoot.
I thought it would be nice to bring home a doll from the eclipse trip, didn't see any Pullips anywhere, passed over a very cheap Rainbow High in a Dollar General that didn't have the same articulation as the regular ones, and then went into this funny little storage-shed-thrift-shop place along the highway. In one of the units she had a bunch of porcelain dolls, all way up on a shelf near the ceiling so I had to ask to look at them. I was looking at a pretty one with a green velvet dress and thought she might be the one, but on closer inspection I found she had a broken foot as well as other damage, just a little more than I wanted to try fixing up. Then spotted Tess, who is also porcelain. She's not poseable and sits in an awkward position, but her face is so pretty. She survived the trip home unscathed! I tried to straighten her wings but they curled again.
I missed the sunshiny part of the day because reasons, but was able to brighten these up a bit.
She has lovely blue eyes.
I didn't even realize till I got home that she lights up!

Pretty. Especially with that cheerful blue background.

She lights up! How fun! How does that work, a little battery pac in the wings? Or is it her actual hair that lights up, like with fiber optics?
It sounds like you could use a guardian angel these days, so maybe Tess is stepping in to take on that role.
Ah, so she is porcelain, which answers a question I posed on the other post.
I fully understand not getting around to photo-shoots. I have an unopened parcel that arrived over a month ago that is a pre-order figure I purchased over a year ago. I have another parcel with an ine ensive "novelty" camera lens I felt compelled to bid on a while back that is now just sitting here. I'm having trouble finishing even the easiest of projects. I don't know if it's me, or circumstances, or some kind of cosmic shift in the flow of time. I'm going with the cosmic shift theory for now, because seriously, nothing gets done while time seems to evaporate!
I think maybe light-up Tess is suggesting that you start on your Christmas holiday decorations now so that maybe you'll be able to finish some Christmas pix before Christmas!

Edit Reason: stupid broken links?!

WTF has happened to my links? A bunch of pictures are showing as broken links, although if you click on them they go to the Flickr photos. Augh!!! I have re-pasted them, and... same result.

She's sitting on a battery pack, which is basically in her bum. The little fiber-optic thingies are visible in the closeup between the layers of her wings.
Happy Dolloween!
The crew managed to get their pumpkins carved and a pineapple too, despite the difficulty of our surroundings. First year I haven't done it out back on the picnic table, but, no privacy out there anymore. It was really cold anyway. Yeah, that was why. It worked not too badly on the counter but I should've taken a picture of the mess from one end to the other!
"Um... Yuki.... ...."
"What? This isn't how you do it?"
"It's OK, Magenta, we always get the littles to help out in the tight spaces."
"Done! Yay!"
Yum!!
Time for my annual exhortation to not waste pumpkins. Sooo many go to waste, when you can make great muffins from the guts, soup and pie from the flesh...
And the J-Dolls wish everyone a Happy H'aloha'ween!
