What a sweetie! I've considered getting a MIO kit myself, especially when Junkyspot was selling them, but I watched a video of how to put them together and must admit I got a little intimidated. Was it difficult getting it right? I imagine having prior eerience with these dolls can help a lot. I just don't want to get fed up halfway through and not finish it, as I've done at times with other projects... D:

Thank you~! And putting the doll together is actually pretty simple. Some thing that you may want to know to make the process easier are that the straight edge of the eyelids are the bottom part, not the side with the curved edge. :3 Also, it would greatly help if you have a good Phillip's head screwdriver with a comfortable handle. It was a nightmare for me using my old screwdriver, but as soon as I got a new one, I found it to be a million times easier to take her apart and put her back together. Overall, I think the hardest part is gluing down the lashes. It could have been because I used different lashes than the ones that came in the kit that had a stiffer band, but it was a bit difficult keeping them from sliding around and sticking to my tweezers. It just takes patience though.

For actual customizing and working on the faceup, for the most part it wasn't too hard and again, took a lot of patience. If you make a mistake, it should be easy to remove with a magic eraser and try again, so long as you don't use things like permanent markers, or anything with oil in them. You definitely want things that are oil-free, like chalk pastels, watercolor pencils, oil-free makeup (yes, you can use real makeup if you'd like!) and water-based acrylic paints.
