The theme for the 2012 Pullip and Dal Doll Lovers Event has been chosen! It will be *stars* with five points representing the five years of PUDDLE.
We are looking for a logo - would you like to design one? If you would, create it and send it to me as soon as possible.
The logo should include the word PUDDLE (either in all capital letters or all lowercase letters) and at least one five-pointed star. Also the date 2012. It should not include the words Pullip or Dal, or anything else copyrighted. The entry needs to be a high-quality image that could be reproduced on t-shirts if desired. It will also be used online on the website and on various PUDDLE promotional items (like bookmarks).

Do you know the dimensions that the banner needs to be?

Delightful: This year's banner is 800 by 200 pixels, if that's what you mean. But I don't actually need a banner yet, as the banner will include not only the logo but also at least one photo of Puddle and a Pullip.

There is no color theme - yet! The logo may change that. As to dimensions...I'm not a graphics person so I don't know what to tell you. Can a logo be made so it can be resized?

A logo _should_ be made to be re-sized, i.e. as a vector.

@Lilcurly: I might not be the best to e  lain, but basically images are all made of dots, or pixels. And if you make it larger, it gets fuzzier/grainy because it has a set amount of pixels. A vector (like in math) figures out how many pixels should be in the image if you re-size it. That's why if you submit the logo as a vector as opposed to (jpeg,etc), it can be re-sized without losing any visual quality.
Is there a due date for the logo?

ahh I see. I'm guessing there's an option for saving it as a vector when you save?

Vectors are made using a various programs, I use one called Adobe Illustrator which is specialised in doing more things like logos and such, vectors are although a much better alternative, creating the image at 300dpi and 7000x7000 might suffice.

Thank you to everyone who submitted a logo for PUDDLE 2012: kirakira, maines, mrsmarks, and krista. The winners are kirakira and mrsmarks. You can see the new banner on the website ( www.puddlestyle.com) that incorporates kirakira's entry. A big thank you also to Stephanie Mansell for a beautiful banner! We hope to use the mrsmarks logo at Cafe Press or a similar site.
