I love the lighting in this series. Lovely, lovely work. The more I see her, the more Nana-chan's shines at me. I agree, GREAT name.

She looks so pretty with those lights - but also like a cute, playful kitty trying to reach them.

Thanks so much, everyone!! I think this girl will definitely keep her stock look.

Now I have to spoil the effect by admitting I wasn't really thinking about that at all. I had shot one of the J-Dolls reaching up for the lights when I did the Christmas-decorations series, so I was thinking about that pose. (Guess she created the effect all by herself!)

I don't pack them away... these are from the kitchen window where they serve as a nightlight. It's just a little bit of a nuisance having to climb on the counter to get at them!
...Now I'll have to think what photo adventures she should have next...

Aww, your Cherie is adorable and it's so kind of whoever had gifted her to you. She looks fantastic in all the photos you've taken of her. The one with her holding the plush cat is too cute!

those lights Every photo of your family with them is so beautiful <3
I adore Cherie as kitty pawing at them, specially the first one, and the last photo of her sleeping with her cat is cuteness to die for
PS - is that plushy one of the sanrios or other famous cuties? Where did you get her, if you don't mind my asking? I am trying to gather a collection of pets for my family. As there is rather a lot of them, I am looking for very cute & very cheap. I don't ask much, right?

Thank you Miss E!
I have no idea if it's a famous one... I kind of doubt it but here you go...

This is not the same seller I.D. I bought from; that one has none left. It is a similar I.D. though, and I think a lot of these Chinese sellers have multiple I.D.'s. So you're probably dealing with the same outfit. Be warned, I didn't get the second plushie I ordered at the same time. For the price, you can take a chance and make a claim if you don't get it. (Edit: finally got it after about 10 weeks.)
This is the seller I bought from and they have a sweet little sheep plushie:

If you search "plush keychain" and whatever animal you want, you should find something. There are lots of cats. Hope you find something you like. I'd love to see pictures! (I know... you and photography... )

We're not going to be seeing any spring flowers for ages yet
But there's a bouquet. Now the whole house has this gorgeous subtle floral scent.
Of course flowers + dolls = pictures!!
One of the goals of the PrettyTiny Film Company & Modelling Studio is to help every dolly who arrives here to discover her own fabulousness...
Cherie was kinda shy but she has discovered how glamorous she can be too.
"Ooo, look what we got!"
"Can I play with them?"
We did several variations of this. It makes me think of some past-century queen's portrait.

They are all beautiful photos but the first one is just perfect. I was wondering what's with early spring in Canada

Cherie's eyes are such a perfect colour with the flora.

No thanks to facebook for reminding me that a year ago this week I had crocuses in bloom and was burning off my wildflower patch. This year there's 6" of snow on the 'patch' and the crocuses are buried under about a foot of snow that got shovelled off the porch

Oh wow! She is so pretty! I never really paid too much attention to her, but yours is just simply stunning!
Meow meow! SO cute she goes sleep after playing herself tired with the lights!
Haha yeah, we still also have snow. It is getting warmer, so all the roads are ice roads from hell... With deep holes in the ice full of water. Thank god I don't have to drive a car there. (I use the bus. Tough I need to walk moreon the icy roads then... )
