And you live in proximity to tide pools! Yep, they do. I found it on the beach!! And I just happened to have Scarlett along with me for pix the day I did. Here's the story of how they got the boat.

That bonus photo of Penny is simply lovely. Lot of mini Dals are pretty but Pisces has always stood out, in my mind I was thinking that, as I was looking at them sitting on the kitchen counter drying off, that she is the prettiest of all the mini Dals. ...um, duh... what's an "EG"...?

I was briefly interested in nendoroids, until my first purchase turned out to be a couple of knockoffs. They're not well made, the pieces don't go together well and they don't stay together. They fall apart if you look at them, and the blonde one's bottom half just drops off ALL the time. After today's shoot I think I'll glue it...? So I ended up basically ignoring them till now. This is the first real photoshoot I've done with them since I got them. More pix to follow; I need to re-shoot this angle without the porch in the background, and I ran out of time so I just finished up today's session with a silly pic.
"Why is the photographer behind us???"
".... I don't know... ?"

if you glue them together though, they will still be beautiful in pics They are so cute
EG is Evil Grin. I don't know why I said that, a decade ago with a big group of friends in chat that was as common as LOL amongst us, with WEG the extension (Wicked Evil Grin). I must have been having one of my increasingly common mind melts :/

They look pretty cute in your photo! Even real Nendos can have a loose part that won't stay put. While I still like them, the Cu-poche line is nice because they have a body like a little Obitsu that poses, instead of having to swap out pieces parts.

Yeah they’re cute even for knock-offs!

Thanks guys Yeah, they are cute. And there's no good reason for blondie's bottom half to be detachable, so I'll try gluing her. Tacky Glue doesn't always stick forever anyway.

...uh oh. *wallet quivers in fear* These strike me as "what Nendoroids ought to have been". The prices will probably keep me from starting to accumulate these but they are very appealing -- as you say, that body.
New girl gets this week's pic. I don't love this because the light was going and it wasn't bright enough for it to be tack-sharp. But I got impatient. I did like that the porch-railing reflections in her eyes are reminiscent of rigging. Still have to do a decent introductory photo shoot with her, but, anyway, here is Victoria.

Congrats on your new beauty! I never liked blonde dolls in red, so I was planning to pass on this one, but I might reconsider that...

She's lovely, I look forward to when you do a "proper" introductory shoot.
I considered Victoria as a name for Cheshire Cat, but when I opened her it wasn't quite right. But I'm keeping it in reserve for another girl someday

Thanks so much, everyone! I agree, she is the prettiest Veritas. And one does need to pick a name that fits! She is my first full-size blonde Pullip. I think she will stay in her stock outfit!
Weather has been so crummy; even with a bit of sun today it still tried to spit rain. Crystal has been waiting for a second chance for better light with the crocuses, and we tried again today, but then the light was weird anyway. Oh well, here's the spring fairy
