PrettyTiny Film Company Pic-A-Week *2024*! (#44, Oct. 28)

I gather the siding was approved as looking enough like the traditional wood shingles, that it wouldn't greatly alter the appearance.  The museum is self-guided with a lot of placards and the shop staff are students.  Folks keeping an eye on the light tower are volunteers.
The mandate thing is mostly over although there are some holdout entities in health care -- like our nursing home.

Another week scrapes uselessly by like a broken-down machine...  Another late-Saturday-night shot-it-earlier-but-couldn't-post pic.  Sigh.

Charonne with one of the very last, really this time, hatchlings.  I was not able to get out to do photos till the sun was nearly gone, and I was not able to use the last bits of sun in the backyard because of "neighbourhood activity", so I ended up in a not-well-lit corner by the porch.  sad
Will put some more photos in the J-Doll thread.

For a not-very-well-lit photo the colors are gorgeous! The pink flamingo pattern outfit is cute!
The butterfly looks fit and strong. "Very last, really this time" cracked me up! Soon enough you'll have butterflies year round! YAY for climate change!
Yeah, I was just talking to somebody about how September seemed to disappear in the wink of an eye, and we're already a week in to October! The passage of time seems to be super-charged these days!

Well, I made it before Saturday this week.  Woo.  Although this was shot with fading light in a sprinkle of rain, rather furtively on my ex-posed front porch, with a chorus of shrieking (continual) permeating the neighbourhood.  Sigh.

Someone discovered "Guardians of the Galaxy" after never knowing anything about or being interested in "all that Marvel stuff".  I saw this adorable little planter a couple of weeks ago and had to get it. He's a bit large for the air plant I got him for, but I found a teeny pot for it.

The air plant takes root in Groot!

Sunsette seems pleased to get a snapshot with a movie celebrity.

Constant shrieking, huh? Halloween horror all month long? Or all year round? (Is there a For Sale sign in your yard yet?)

This is Tess.  It's a measure of how disrupted things are around here, that she joined the crew in Texas in April and has not had a photoshoot yet slash
More pix on the PTFCo random photos thread.

An angel joined your crew while you were in Texas?

I guess you're calling in divine intervention at this point!

At least Tess is making an appearance before Christmas, just to let us know that she's here to help you get ready for the holidays!

Is Tess a porcelain doll? What size is she?

I’ve been calling for divine intervention for a couple of years now. Unfortunately, the line seems to be busy.
Yes, Tess is porcelain. She is about 11” high seated.

Right on time with another Saturday-after-midnight post. slash   Well, I shot it Friday at least.
Went for a run at the beach and took Natalie along for a few photos beforehand.

Oh, cute! All ready for summery fun at the beach! Or at least you make it look like it's still sunny and warm.

Her little footprints leading up to where she's standing are cute! Nice touch!

And you can run at the beach! Is the runnable stretch pretty long?

Only tangentially related: did you know that one of your articles is linked as a source to the Wikipedia article about the Grand Harbour Lighthouse?

She’s not exactly dressed for the beach, is she! But I did want pictures of her in that dress.
I’ve never attempted to measure it on Google Maps or anything but I think it’s got to be about 2 km long, so the run would be 4.
It was sunny and warm, getting over 20 in the sun on my back porch. Alas, I think that is over. It is -1 tonight Cry
I can’t remember if I knew about the article. That page could do with a bit of updating, like a description of the museum display about it that now exists. No, I won’t be taking time to do that.

Well, either really really late or really early I guess. A bit of a cheat with a phone photo, but oh well.
My turn to post a mystery box!

Oooohhh... a mystery box!
I bet'cha I know what it is! Uh huh, I think I do! How many months have you been waiting for this to arrive?

Do you really carry that pink handbag or satchel when you're out and about? Is that a Hello Kitty pattern?
