I had to look up the character. It's mindboggling the amount of worldbuilding that has grown from George Lucas's original lil script!
So was this Hot Toys figure another you've bought or is it reviews that state her elbows don't bend? Bummer when things don't live up to promo photos.

People who pre-ordered the figure are now receiving them. I based my story on a couple of reports I've seen thus far.

Yes, the head stander stood on her head unaided during the entire photo session while I was re-setting the other figure.

The references are intentionally obscure, like in Alan Moore's "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" comics that require separate volumes of annotations to decipher, or like a really crappy fiction novel I read recently that loaded in tons of super obscure indie music references in an effort to appear hip.

It's kinda funny, some of the guys on one of the other forums are projecting their own mistaken interpretations on the references in the story which make absolutely no sense; but people go with what they know. Hence this next update:

Welcome back! I was kinda wondering if you were OK. Sorry you've been sick. Hope you're on the mend.
You are really good at the styrofoam-carving-aging thing. It looks great.
Somehow those stormtroopers now look creepy AF. Are they working at the border?? LOL

"Headache time" captures a very evocative atmosphere. And hey, at least you felt well enough to do a photo a day AND all that work on the photo story. This makes me miss a forum where there are more people to do things like this with.

It has been a struggle to inspire anyone on the action figure forums to take part. There's one guy who is totally in to it. His installments tend to be even more verbose and opaque than mine, but he's enthusiastic, so I try to support his plot developments.

There are a couple more guys who are taking tentative steps to get involved. You'd think joining in to a "chat game photo project" was as intimidating as joining a biker gang or something. Seriously, there's no initiation and no hazing, we promise!

I think people are just busy. These always look like they took a lot of time. I mean, on top of the staging and posing you've got to do all the captioning etc. I think a lot of folks just aren't going to take that much time. It's great that you do.
