I've considered getting a MIO kit myself, especially when Junkyspot was selling them, but I watched a video of how to put them together and must admit I got a little intimidated. Was it difficult getting it right? I imagine having prior eerience with these dolls can help a lot. I just don't want to get fed up halfway through and not finish it, as I've done at times with other projects... D:
Thank you~! And putting the doll together is actually pretty simple.

For actual customizing and working on the faceup, for the most part it wasn't too hard and again, took a lot of patience. If you make a mistake, it should be easy to remove with a magic eraser and try again, so long as you don't use things like permanent markers, or anything with oil in them. You definitely want things that are oil-free, like chalk pastels, watercolor pencils, oil-free makeup (yes, you can use real makeup if you'd like!) and water-based acrylic paints.

I also suggest checking out these links to help give you a better idea on how customizing and putting together a Pullip is done:

This is a great guide too for people who are working on their first faceup:

Sorry this was such a long reply, but I do hope this was helpful, and I do think customizing your own MIO is so worth it and lots of fun, so I really hope you decide to try it out!
