So I should stop trawling around eBay looking at dolly stuff. It's not good for the budget. But, this was a ridiculous bargain.
First, the girls have some new deck chairs. Sunsette, Scarlett & Marie went to the beach. (Ros & Kai weren't dressed for it.)
Not sure I'd have believed it if you'd told me I would one day get out old Barbie stuff again (the table & mugs).
Scarlett wanted to build an inukshuk but it kept blowing over.
Enjoying the sun.
When we got back they had a wee party on the deck. Sunsette's telling stories.
Thennn... the really ridiculous-bargain was that, unplanned, they got a piano.
Everybody had a go.
Now Rosalind really looks like an opera diva.
Kailani, the classical pianist, plays strange tunes that may be mermaid music...
Scarlett looks like she probably sings enthusiastically but off-key. Sunsette, on-key and mostly sweet, but occasionally just a bit raucous and sailor-y. The other three, I imagine, would make a lovely chorus.
Oh dear. My dolls are accumulating furniture.
Y'all realize what this means, right...?
Eventually I will have to get them a house to put it in.
Sigh.
The girls (mostly Sunsette) have picked out their dream house. Which would mean mum has to buy the kit and build it. I told them that if it ever starts to look like I might get my dream house, they'll get theirs.
Bonus pic: This turned into a hazardous shoot. There was enough of a breeze to be annoying, but when the wind sucked the backdrop, Scarlett AND the piano right off the porch, I feared disaster. Sunsette does all her own movie stunts, but she had to concede that Scarlett's dive off a 4 1/2-foot porch was epic. Thank goodness everything was intact. Here's Scarlett pointing out how far she fell.
Thanks for looking
