What cute photos, Greys (Morgan looks ready to play!) and Secret (what's your kitty's name?)
Thanks for the good wishes. We've now been through 5 vets (OK, 3 at one clinic), 2 pathologists & a histologist, & it's looking more like she has a horrendous bacterial infection, possibly caused or exacerbated by a tooth extraction in May. All the more heinous, that that vet wrote her off on the spot, said it was probably cancer & did I want her put down right then. It disintegrated her jawbone. Which may or may not be re-calcifying; 2nd x-ray by new vets was 'better'. So we're doing long-term antibiotics... Not out of the woods yet as she needs some coaxing to eat & her mouth is somewhat messed up But, they gave her maybe 2 weeks, & it's been 2 months.
That vet is so FIRED.
