Thanks everyone! Yep, Daesani's got attitude for days
I've tried to root pineapple tops probably half a dozen times. Supposed to be very easy in water, & better for a damp area where there's not a lot of great light -- less likely to mold than in soil -- but they never 'take'. I'll stick this one in a glass but I don't ex-pect it to root because it's been kind of cooked by the candle, even up inside where I'd be peeling it off to.
...Yeah, I know, Halloween is over, but I wanted to do a few more pix before I baked Mr Pumpkin (he yielded 5 pies' worth of puree), and before Mr Pineapple dried into slouching decrepitude. He already looks a little tired here; I had to prop up the top because it fell off in the middle of a shot!
And, according to my 2 wee Polynesian princesses, H'ALOHAween can go all year!
The LaVoile sisters basking in Halloweeny glow.
The J-Dolls protested being left out. A justified complaint.
Natalie.
Outtake! She got a little woozy during a focus check.
