Well... it looks like your yellow orchid (it's an orchid, isn't it?) is happy about something, blooming for the first time in years.
Thirty years? So you've been there since almost before you were born? (Which is technically possible, I suppose.) Where does your traditional anniversary hike take you? Is there a name for the trail? Or do you just "bushwhack it" in to the hills?
