I gather the siding was approved as looking enough like the traditional wood shingles, that it wouldn't greatly alter the appearance.  The museum is self-guided with a lot of placards and the shop staff are students.  Folks keeping an eye on the light tower are volunteers.
The mandate thing is mostly over although there are some holdout entities in health care -- like our nursing home.


Another week scrapes uselessly by like a broken-down machine...  Another late-Saturday-night shot-it-earlier-but-couldn't-post pic.  Sigh.

Charonne with one of the very last, really this time, hatchlings.  I was not able to get out to do photos till the sun was nearly gone, and I was not able to use the last bits of sun in the backyard because of "neighbourhood activity", so I ended up in a not-well-lit corner by the porch.
