The Adventures of Sunsette -- Our PEI souvenir (July 11)

You find the coolest stuff. We don't have painted flowers or mermaids here.

Well, you could paint some rocks in your garden?
Or, well, move to the coast! 

It appears to be some sort of marine worm, for the tracks... still looking but I haven't seen any photos of them out of the water running around on dry sand, which this would have to have been.  I'll ask on the "Ask PEI" group, sometime.  Dunno about the shell but it looks like just a periwinkle.
It looks like Eastern Carpenter Bees have smooth abdomens.  This one was definitely fuzzy.
The rocks have lighter patches so it's not like actual crusted salt, but I'm sure there is salt on them.  I didn't lick any to find out.  (Now that would've been Grand-Tour-worthy!)
It's a pink lady's slipper, which is an orchid -- cypripedium.  Never seen one of these in the wild; they were sooo cool.  Apparently PEI has 4 species of lady's slipper.  Irises are a different genus, so the "lady slipper iris" is a misnomer.
Funny story about your little "rogue wave".  I bet it was laughed about long afterward.

"Should we, just this once, help our colleague?"

...."So, it doesn't really work without some acting by us, because I really love my lil sis and all the rest of us at PTFCo get along really well too.  But this has given us an idea, for some Serious Acting; if the PrettyTiny Film Company actually makes another film (ahem, Mum)... Maybe 'someday when life is different' (our frequent refrain these days) we could make a real PTFCo Grand Tour movie!"
