Nice place, on the river... with a dolly-sized lighthouse and close to the dunes. These homeowners must be loaded. And then, what, they escape to Sint Maarten or somewhere equivalent in the winter? Nice life... if you can afford it.
Speaking of Sint Maarten (or Saint Martin), I was there briefly last month, and the whole time I was thinking, if I were a bit (or a lot) younger and had fewer entanglements, I would move to Sint Maarten, learn to speak Dutch (and probably French), and try to get a job working on a boat. That would be it -- almost as good as Hawaii (haven't been anywhere as nice as Hawaii, honestly. Tahiti comes close.).
The ship-shape gift shop looks like fun. The masts look fairly realistic -- to a landlubber who has never been to sea and who has never hauled on a line to hoist... anything. Too bad the place was closed. It would be interesting to talk to the owners (if the current owners are the builders) about the place.
The cold, though... that's intense. Intensely unpleasant. As in, can't do anything outdoors. Add in a little wind to those temps for extra fun.

They're not dolls, they're action figures!
