These homeowners must be loaded.  And then, what, they escape to Sint Maarten or somewhere equivalent in the winter?

It would be interesting to talk to the owners (if the current owners are the builders) about the place.

Well, when you consider the difference in property values between here & Ontario, people can afford nice houses here with money left over after selling there.  And no, they went back to Ontario to renovate a rental property that the tenants had trashed.
Apparently the owner of the antique shop is the widow of the builder.  It was too cold to sit on the roadside analysing the rigging.  It's a little crooked!
