Ah, the ongoing quest for the Right Lighting!  

Lighting, yeah... I made the same mistake today, I ran the action figure photo through an AI image app, and it improved the lighting, posing, and setting details so much that I'm just sitting here now and thinking, whaaat? Obvious, the improvements. Why didn't I think to do that?

(Altho' admittedly, it was an under-five-minutes photo shoot with a mobile phone because I didn't get around to setting up a "real" photo today.)
