“We had a little time to fill in, in between Airbnb’s, so Mum went into a craft shop and picked brains about the area for some time, and then we had a short walk in a little waterfront park.  We’ve seen a few of these wooden sculptures around town. Chainsaw art probably. There is one that must be at least 10 feet tall, an angel with big wings holding the earth. On a drive-by it looks like it would be spectacular close up. But there isn’t a place to park and we would be shooting a picture of someone’s house.”



“There was also a row of huge gorgeous rhododendrons. There are no deer to eat them here!”
