Replaced the gauge at the same time.
Replacing this part is much easier than it looks. This is one of those things you have to learn how to do yourself when you live in the stixx. Twenty or thirty bucks for a part, or several hundred to call a plumber or electrician.
Moving to civilization is becoming an increasingly attractive option. Depends on how much this place would bring. For a while, prices out here were an a strong upward trend. Now that seems to have reversed, and unless a property is a practically brand new palace with brand new everything, it's pretty much worthless.
