Even though I've just started collecting, I've been really inspired by the dollhouses that I've seen so far! I'd love to have one of my own for my girls! I am planning to build one, once I am in my new house.
I have thought about using some Barbie furniture, but I've seen a lot of hot pink... and hot pink isn't really my thing, lol! Has anyone ever e erimented with re-painting Barbie furniture (or plastic furniture in general)? How did it turn out? What type of paints did you use?

Waiting for: nothing~
Other dollies: Zoe (Moxie Teen), Alyssa (Moxie Girl), Dahlia & Saffron (Blythe clones), Adelaide (J-Doll)

I was able to find this Ikea cabinet on Craigslist really cheap, that is exactly the style I've been wanting for my doll display. I'm super excited to finally have an actual place for my dolls, although it's going to take a bit of work to perfect it.
Cabinet all assembled. I hope to eventually fix up some cosmetic damages and paint it white.
In progress. AG dolls will reside on top, and eventually 2nd & 3rd rows will be for the Pullips.
Kono-Hana is happy to have moved out of the makeshift cardboard box into her permanent residence!

Ooh, I like the Ikea shelving, it's a lovely colour & seems the exact right size. I really like what you've done with it.

Wow, that's a really cool shelf! It looks nice in a room whereas my shelf looks like an art project gone wrong. :/
