when a calendar became a muse

I love calendars, though I never use them I love to get a pretty one every year. this year I got a calendar from anthropologie, by an artist called Perrin. I love her style, and i thought my dolls and this calendar kind of match nicely. so while I was packing for a trip, i procrastinated by taking a bunch of photos I took photos from two different angles per dolls but I am posting only one here.

Oh wow! I think these are my favorite photos I've ever seen from you! Some of them I had to do a double take because they actually looked like they were on the calender. Amazing! I love all of them so much. (I'm also glad to see how the little bike you bought recently looks with a doll. I'm definitely going to have to get one for myself soon. <3)

I agree with the illusion that they are painted in the calendar. I was very surprised, the dolls look flat but in a good way I am glad someone liked November everybody else got a single shot but poor Sol got 3-4 different sets of photos. I just couldn't get him to look himself. So this is the best I got I will probably re-take this photo in fall again )

I agree, these are great. I like how so many of the dolls match the calendar colours, with their hair or outfits or both. I think Jan., Feb. & Nov. are the best matches for colour/style, but they're all cute. A really good idea for a photo series
