Minis' Christmas party!!

Dolly therapy to the rescue again...  what with losing my dad in November, I really didn't 'do Christmas' this year.  Hadn't decorated at all, but Friday I got the mini outfits I'd ordered on eBay, which I didn't ex.pect to come so soon, so I was suddenly inspired to at least set up the minis' tree and let them have a Christmas party.


Everybody gathered around the tree.

What a fantastic party!
And what an impressive set-up for "last minute" festivities!
I love their little piano, and that sailing ship of course!
The style of the photos reminds me of the Rankin-Bass (i.e. 'Rudolph') animated holiday TV shows.

And the party will continue all week, into the New Year! YAY!

I hope the New Year has wonderful things in store for you and the entire PTFCo crew!

I'm not a party person either. But the minis just look like one big family having a nice time, so yeah, I'd like to join too!
I love doing photos in the dark with little fairy lights or the solar light string. You never quite know how they're going to turn out and you can manipulate the light quite a lot by moving them around.

I would like to think those who've gone on are still with us in some way. Sometimes it's hard to find that assurance.
Yes, some of the minis don't get a lot of camera time. It's hard to resist getting more, but I also don't want them to just sit on display and never get photographed because I don't have time for them all. I try to give everyone a chance!
