I like to think the swing is made of a hangman’s noose.

We're The Hex Girls, And We're Gonna Put A Spell On You

The Hex Girls: the small coven of witches that has developed in my room.

From left to right, back to front: Gloria Phobia, Pippa Pentangle, Elphaba Thropp, Glinda Upland, Red Riding Storm, Wednesday Addams, Sabrina Spellman, Salem Saberhagen, Matilda Wormwood, Raven Queen, Evie Queen, Mildred Hubble, and Sakura Kinomoto.

(I'm aware Sakura is a magical girl, but she's always connected more with those who call themselves witches around here... Got to admit, there's a few more 'cliques' in my doll-verse than I'd like...)

(No longer in my collection: Pippa Pentangle, Glinda Upland, Sabrina Spellman.)

22. Sewing: Long Sleeved Dresses

Taken on the day I had worked out how to make a pattern that already included sleeves and didn't need them inserted.
Pippa Pentangle is a more modern thinking witch, who thinks that dark colours are not necessarily needed to be crafty.
Elphaba just thinks dark colours help to lessen the greenness of her skin.

I'm also fond of dark colors on witchy attire, but I think they help to enhance the greeniness of my skin...

Pippa reminds me of Juliet Mills from Nanny and the Professor.

Different things for different people. Glinda would have said dark colour suit greenness.

... I do not actually know that. Huh. Will Google later on.

23. A Silent Watcher

Even in a house. Batman finds somewhere to stand and gaze out broodily as he watches.

He does look broody, and his shadow on the wall gives the picture properly dramatic and comic-esque feel!

If one is in a mood to brood, one can always find a place to do it LOL
A dress pattern that doesn't need the sleeves inserted sounds quite a bit easier to make.

Love your witches in their cute dresses, and a great photo of Batman!

A witches coven of your dolls? I hope they don't get any ideas about casting spells on the rest. Batman looks like he's on the top of some building looking out over the city of dolls. I bet the witches won't mess with him.
