Beach naupaka! Coarse coral sand! Black lava rock! Ohhhh! I am so happy for you!
(Trying not to cry while I'm digging out from almost two feet of snow, but that is my fault.) Are you on the Big Island? Or somewhere near Turtle Bay on da North Shore of Oahu?
They're not dolls, they're action figures!

"Aloha from the shoulders of the biggest mountain in the world. Everest? Nah -- small potatoes. Mauna Kea's base is on the seafloor!
Love, Sunsette " "P.S. Davidd, sympathy about the snow! We've been in Kona. Mum's going to a Thing near Hilo next... We don't know if there's wifi."

I love the drive from Kona to Hilo around South Point!

On the rare occasions I do go on vacation I always bring a doll to do sightseeing photos with and then I always chicken out. Yours are always great though, and encourage me to try it sometime!

"Aloha everyone! We've been off the grid for a whole week and it was great. We may have discovered the most perfect place on earth. Here we are at Kahuna Falls, which is about 300 or 400 feet high below this pool. davidd, we were at the recreation area on Saddle Road. Mum's taking lots of pictures, and we are still doing a pic a week but they will have to wait till we get home to post them.
Thanks for reading! Love, Sunsette "

Saddle Road! I loved that drive the two times I did it! The landscape in some sections is barren and eerie, with the dormant volcanic cinder cones dotting the landscape!
So happy that you're having a good time! Definitely looking forward to seeing pics from your adventures upon your return, but hoping you can postpone that return for as long as possible; because, y'know, "most perfect place on Earth" vs cold, wind, and snow.
