Neon’s A Doll A Migraine-less Day, More Or Less - 2019 edition!
I always liked Abby, she had the cutest name, too.

She has transparent iridescent thinsel. It's pretty, but as with all tinsel, it doesn't age well.

Maybe... It's certainly nice idea so I'm making it part of canon! And thank you very much!

Day 107

I went to Šárka to check if the road is finally fixed. The reconstruction is "done", but they only fixed one bridge and they left behind their makeshift bridge they were using during the construction, so now there are two ugly chunky concrete bridges in one narrow place (a healthy person could easily jump over the brook in that place), and boy, does it look awful... Well, at least there aren't any chemical toilets left behind...

Anyhoo, I took today's pic there, it's the first outside pic this year, because the one of Skelita in the snow was taken on the outside ledge of my window, so it doesn't count.

This is the non-filtered version, but now that I see it on monitor instead of the tiny screen, it's so blue, it looks like it was filtered, too! LOL
It was too green, so I tried to correct the colors, and it seems like I went overboard with blue, haha.

The filtered version gives the feel of coming across an old photo plate, one that's image has survived so well.

And it's just a lovely shot in general.

Yay, adventures outside!! grin And such pretty blossoms in the background... we have no such thing yet Cry
I like how the landscape looks in scale with her.
Maybe someone could "decorate" the concrete remains with some pretty artwork LOL

Your "first outdoor photo of the year" is spectacularly pretty! It presents an idealized vision of the outdoors... not too hot, not too cold, not too windy, without allergies or biting insects. Just... prettiness! Heart 2
They're not dolls, they're action figures!

Great to see you and your dolls getting out and about.

I hope you'll get to enjoy some spring soon!
The best partt of a the landscape looking in scale with the doll is that it really is in scale with her. There are several spots like that in the gorge, with just the right portion of rock protruding from the ground, and this one had that lovely sapling of whatever tree or bush it might be, plus it's really accessible. Perfect for doll pics!

I really wish they just removed the makeshift bridge, because it's a bunch of pieces of concrete piled in the brook, with some pipes thrown in to avoid blocking the stream, and I'm not sure it's good for the ecosystem...

I had to endure some mild allergies and one or two biting insects, but the weather was absolutely perfect!
And thank you!!!

Sometimes I wish I could be a mermaid ghost. Ghost mermaid. Either or.

There's something very ethereal about her in that picture, I can't quite put my finger on what it is, but it shines through.

Never seen her before, but she looks great.

Same here. I don't know who this is, and I have no words to describe what I'm seeing. This photo transcends reality. It is, as werepuppy says, ethereal.

(Found her: Sirena von Boo, one of the Freaky Fusion characters. And the date of her initial release explains why I do not recall seeing her; that was a hectic time in my life.)

Again... spooktacular photo!

Haha, she actually appeared in two pics last year, but that's good you don't remember, it will make this year's challenge less repetitive and I won't have to worry about it being too boring!

Day 109

This lady hasn't been featured for a while...

Another very atmospheric pic. I can see her sweeping down the staircase in a gothic epic.

Perhaps the latest photo is so memorable as to banish previous visions of this lovely creature from memory!

Speaking of lovely creatures, this incarnation of Draculaura is truly the most ravishing Daughter of the Night to ever grace the undead world!

That version of Draculaura really is the best version. She's stunning and yet there's this sadness in her expression that somehow draws you ever closer...

Perfect way to lure in your prey.

Your ghostly mermaid looks like she's floating in the deep depths of the sea. I ex-pect a lanternfish to sneak into the corner of the scene wink
And Draculaura must be floating in the night sky...?
