Two and a half years isn't that bad, I have projects I've been procrastinating on for longer... Congrats on taking that first step!

Heh. I believe it. You wouldn't believe how long some of MY projects have been stalled
Looking forward to seeing what you make.

Hmm, if I count some of my cross-stitch projects I could hit 20+ years...
I’m looking forward to seeing the finished project soon then.

As others have said, two and a half years really isn't all that bad. I've not even started on half the projects I've thought up for the doll kind of the Room...

That looks like a fun assortment of supplies!
(And yeah, joining everyone else on the stalled and procrastinated projects couch...)

1 June – Work in Progress: Window Seat
It does not photograph well yet. I'm hoping that improves as it becomes more finished.
The "garishness" is intentional for this particular project.
They're not dolls, they're action figures!

The garishness goes well with those dolls.

I love window seats! I wish I had one irl, I love reading sitting on the window.
That wallpaper is delightfully tacky. It gave me a mental image of Cloetta opening a home business called Madame Cloetta's Magical Love Lab, where she would sell 'love spells, charms, and potions - results guaranteed!', but in reality, they'd only be guaranteed to cause a major Puck-style mess.

The wallpaper is awful, I love it for these dolls, it suits them so well,
And I'm jealous that they get a window seat - it's a great addition to their rooms.

It's so... psychedelic 60s. In the best way.
The window seat idea is making me jealous - I'd love a window seat.

It would be even better weirder with a vibrant pop-art wallpaper background! It comes from one of my Instagram contacts who made a room using this paper for her Bratz dolls. I could not find anything similar locally, so she kindly sent me several packages! Yeah, psychedelic is an accurate description. After spending some time trying to match the pattern at the seams, my eyes were beginning to swim. 2 June – Ex˚pedition to Tipi Land
Yup, today's "Doll A Day" photo subject is a toy car. But there's a little figure driving the car, so I'm going to claim that it counts.
They're not dolls, they're action figures!

Of course it counts! Great shot, and I love how you make the perspective work yet again
