Oh! You have fairies helping your garden emerge in spring!
And warm sunshine to help things along!
What a fun seasonal scene!

Thank you both
Well, the crocuses are done; wah. The chionodoxa are up, but they're not in a very scenic spot.
With a rare 2 quiet days in a row, I found some sunny patches out back, so here's Jewel again.

The moss and the decaying log looks so ancient and mysterious!
This scene reminds me of the property my grandparents had when I was a wee lad: over 20 acres of forest that looked very much like your image, with wild irises and even wild orchids ( like this) that would emerge through the dense moss, under a canopy of tall old fir trees.
Lovely lighting on the figure here, with rich, saturated color. Those wings are marvelous, with the jewels and the blended colors. One of the jewels is even sparkling brightly in the sunlight!

Such a cute wee fairy. And the sparkle on the wing is indeed perfect.

Thanks, all
It was fun lining up the shot to get the sparkle on the wing.

We have some tiny bog orchids too, "dragon's mouth" look a little similar.
I have a million folders on my laptop with photos that need to be sorted. Many are pic-a-week that turned into quite a lot of pix and a whole photoshoot. Somehow I just don't get round to going through them. Some day. Today I just added more
Happy Earth Day!
... and uncharacteristically I didn't really do anything to observe it. Many years I'll lug home a bag or 2 of stuff from the beach, but just wasn't up for it today. Every day should be Earth Day though, right...?
But anyway, here's some more nature... Dolls With Flowers continues!
Red loves... red flowers.

Ah, Red the Traveler! Good to see her again! We had some fun when she was here!
The flowers there are incredible! Nights are still in the low 20s (-5˚C) here, with the incessant wind making it seem even colder.
Yeah, I remember when I used to hear the phrase, "Every Day is Earth Day" a lot. Now I didn't even notice a reference to Earth Day at all, anywhere.
Sadly, I've become jaded and soured on any kind of "environmental movement." It used to be about picking up trash and trying to make a difference on a personal or local level. Now "environmentalism" has been embraced by governments as a tool for, and justification for, more taxation and more social control. Back in my day (cackled in my best old geezer voice) it was the hippies who supported the environmental movement, while simultaneously distrusting the government and wanting "The Man" to stay out of their business. How things have changed... and not for the better.
Sorry... didn't mean to rant.
Glad to see you're blessed with some sunshine.

Wellllll.... the amaryllis is a house plant... although it's a wee bit warmer here than there, not much is blooming outside beyond the dandelions and the forsythia!
Yeah, to the government environmental lip service. Must be trying to distract us from something else... Maybe they should stop wasting money, and paper, and fuel flying to all their meetings, and use some of the fortune they waste on hotels and entertainment on their trips, to pay for cleaning up a beach or planting some trees, or....
Lots of people still distrust them and want them to stay out of our business! Particularly in Canada these days.

I wish they lasted longer. Only a few days!
Sunsette and the crew would love to have some PTFCo merch. Probably a pretty niche market though. And I can't find a good printer of small canvases at a decent price.

Great costumes! Great light sabre effects!
I like the one on the right! Who is she, and is that a custom costume?

Pretty sure the doll is Crimson Veritas, and very sure the outfit is from one of the Twlight Barbie dolls, because I have the same clothes... the shirt in particular is one of my favorites.
