The Gloria brand play sets are inekspensive but generally look nice. Or at least, they look adequate for my toy-like scenes. They tend to be very pink, however, so a dash of spray paint helps with the realism.

Hmmmm.... depending on the articulation, she could give that other body a try, but, given that -- didn't you mention this? -- the rubbery bodies start getting a bit crumbly after a while, she should keep her original just in case.
Somehow that outfit looks a bit less put-together than in the stock photos... there's kind of a lot going on there
But looking at the stock photos, she is reeeeeallly pretty.
Can't tell from your photos but are her eyes really 2 different colours or is that just the stock photo lighting?
So did you decide to keep her?

I did not notice the eyes. I shall take a look... right now.
Well... that was odd.

Definitely Different
.
Under not-very-bright indoor light, a diffused mix of natural window light and artificial LED light, I did not notice a difference between the eyes, and that was going to be my off-the-cuff response. I noticed the sun was bright outside, offering both open shade and full sun, so I took the doll outside. Even under open shade, the difference is not significance, but there was enough that I took a look under full sun. Under full bright sun, the eyes are definitely different. The right eye (screen left) has a decidedly greenish tint, sort of a "camo pattern" green. The left eye (screen right) has a similar pattern but in greys and blacks. I remember a while back when "heterochromia" was something of a fad. This doll must have been released during the heterochromia craze.
As to the ultimate fate of this doll, I have not yet decided. If I could clear a C-note, I'd probably let her go. Less than that, prolly not. She is awfully cute... and I notice, even as I'm typing these paragraphs, that my heartless mercenary attitude is beginning to soften as I apply personal pronouns like "she" and "her" rather than the more generic "the doll."

The heterochromia dolls were quite a while ago I think. Zappa is fairly recent. Funny, I noticed the eyes in any stock photo with half decent lighting.
Oh boy – monster May She looks quite chic.
Ya know, for all that effort, you should pop back in at Dal House.
(How the heck does phone dictation spell ‘heterochromia’ right and get so much else that I say wrong???)

I know, this isn't exactly a "monster" doll, but she's got a spooky sci-fi fantasy vibe, and the gothic dungeon setting adds to the melodrama, so... close enough.
Plus... what's she doing with that sword?
And... what happened to the Headless Freak?

Yay, the forum is back. All the forums are back. I don't know if there was an outage at an Internet exchange or what, but several forums were inaccessible simultaneously, even ones with different hosting servers and software. They were all back online by the following morning.
Responses on forums and Flickr as to the course of action for Zappa and her clothes were mixed, but a "poll" posted to Instagram favored returning her attire by a considerable margin. Well, a "considerable margin" within the limitations of four votes. I don't have much "engagement" on Instagram.
I purchased the pterodactyl through eBay a couple or three years ago when I thought I would need a dinosaur for a photo-story segment that ultimately never materialized. At the time, it was the largest dinosaur I could find for a reasonable (small) budget.
Small greenish and blueish accent lights, plus natural daylight and a red light. The combination of the natural daylight plus the red light confused the camera white balance sensor, resulting an appropriately eerie effect that has been enhanced by tweaking the slider controls in an editing app.
