PrettyTiny Film Company -- Alliecat's crew (Jan. 9)
Nice to see Red again. I was just looking at some of the photos I took of her in Chicago.

She sure got around.  I think travelling dolls are the coolest idea smile

It's that time again... Time for the legendary Best Party Ever... the PTFCo minis Christmas Party!  Yay!!  grin

It's fun to add Sunsette & Scarlett's PEI-souvenir scooter to the scene.  Thanks to top-heavy models and awkward angles, this one shot took 40 minutes to get set... and then I had to leave it cos stuff in the oven was done, and come back and actually shoot the pic after supper LOL

The sweetest little choir voices!

Sooo many minis that we have an overflow party room!

I took Petra & Celeste along housesitting.  Sit #1 was only 5 days including cleanup/departure day, and my departure was delayed both by an annoying dryer [insert rant about hi-tech wannabe-spaceship electronic washers & dryers] and by a photoshoot!
Sit #2 includes a cat who is into EVERYTHING, so all the dolls will have to stay packed away when not on camera.  Also the weather is not looking good, ex-pect to be iced in tomorrow, so here I am posting dolly photos at 10pm with no supper yet, because why get up early??

The weather was so gloomy the whole 5 days that I barely got any photos, of either cats or dolls.

A very precarious shoot balancing the tripod on the stairs.  I really liked the decorations in low light, but just couldn't make this one work as I wanted it.  Oh well!

Some of the hosts' cute decor.

So I had to shoot them with Rudolph out in the front yard before leaving!

The Legendary Best Party Ever looks as legendary as ever -- maybe even more so with the addition of the festive red motor-scooter!

The house-sits almost sound like more work than they're worth -- except I know how much it can be worth just to get out of the house and be someplace different. Yeah, "smart" appliances are dumb. Give me a simple timer and a start button.

The driftwood reindeer are certainly fun!
They're not dolls, they're action figures!

Not sure how that computes from what I wrote, but, while there are some bad ex-periences (the members' forum showcases what can go wrong), when you get a good one it's a nice change from the usual, you meet interesting people and have feline company, can ex!plore places without forking out for accommodation, and sometimes you get to stay in really cool places.  And do cool things, like, oh, let's say solar eclipses.  And it's a great feeling to know that people who have trusted you, a stranger, with their home and pets are then glad they picked you as a sitter: mission accomplished.

Things To Do When Snowed In On A Housesit, #17.

It was soooooo quiet and peaceful here, down in a hollow surrounded by trees with no neighbours in sight, which was so wonderful, that the night it dumped a foot of snow I went out and spent about 1 1/2 hours making a snow cat!  LOL

Turned into a lot bigger project than I planned when I started making a first little snowball.

It was So Bleepin Cold after that, highs around -14 and probably in the -20s with the wind chill, that I lasted 10 minutes and a half dozen pictures and that was it!  There's a cute little lighthouse in the yard, and on a couple of days there was a tiny bit of late sun.

The snow cat looks quite sizeable! A fun project as long as the sun was out.

Do you only house-sit for cats, not dogs?
They're not dolls, they're action figures!
