Tiny ghost pumpkins for Halloween!
Will the growing season last a bit longer yet, so you might get a mature pumpkin in November?
Below-freezing temps in the forecast here for this coming week.
It's always fun to see your butterfly pix!
Did you have milkweed growing on your property this season?

No, I don't have any milkweed. I brought some from Ontario when we came but the deer ate it within a few years. It doesn't grow here outside of a few people's butterfly gardens.
The thermometer hit zero last night. That's the end for the ground cherries and the pumpkin vine. They are not really any bigger than when that was taken and they're yellow. IF they ripen on a windowsill, I might get a soup. No freezable puree unless I buy one again. And I still have puree from the last one.
I took Sofia to the shore for a few late-light pix. Alas, 2 hours after high water was already too late and I didn't get all the shots I wanted, and also standing on slippy rockweed over sharp rocks hand-holding both doll & camera is not really conducive to sharp photos. Guess I'll have to go again, but it's getting cold these days

Also, shooting on location with her is reeeealllyy scary because she has SO many little bits & pieces to lose. Dropped her dagger a couple of times, and a tiny little magnet about 1mm across from her compass pouch popped off. Fortunately it's shiny and I found it in the rockweed. Going on the fixit list for when I open the Krazy Glue!
Anyway, here she is.

I particularly like that second shot, sitting on the rock looking out to sea. The eksposure worked well on that one.
I can't believe you managed to spot the tiny magnet among the rocks and weeds! Good eye!
Yeah, the 1/6-scale figures photograph well outdoors, but present an extreme challenge due to their many small pieces and relative fragility.

I also particularly like the 2nd, and the fourth!
