This is probably the oldest. I would have said I got this "a couple of years ago." I was surprised when I looked it up to see that I purchased the set in 2021, five years ago.
The plan was to use it for Pinky:st figures. I could probably cut down the counters to Pinky:st height, which I might still do. But for now I think I will add a riser to the base to better fit 1/12-scale (dollhouse scale) figures.

The accessories, like the drinking glasses, look like a decent match for 1/12-scale.

Speaking of unopened boxes:

Empty action figure boxes

I'm not likely to ever sell the figures, so why keep the boxes? I can store the figures much more compactly without the packaging, and any secondary market value evaporated the moment I opened the containers anyway.

I'll show you what was in here after I open the rest of them!   yay

Oh boy. I wanna see!
Sorry you're still worrying about secondary market value. Just open 'em and have fun.
"A couple of years ago"..... slash yeah, it's truly horrifying how fast time passes. I had annular-eclipse photos come up in my FB "memories" and I couldn't believe it was 3 years ago. And I thought then that I was going to be out of here within the year sad

Yeah, I've pretty much given up on the "secondary market value" thing because it's getting too expensive to sell anything online. I mean, sure, a little bit of money is better than no money, but it doesn't seem fair that most of the "profit" goes to the postal service and eBay fees.

Probably just my excuse. I'm too lazy to hassle with listing things anymore.

More Zuro Starbox MINNEE Dolls

I acquired (as in, bought) three more Zuru Starbox MINNEE "blind box" dolls yesterday.

I ended up with two new ones, Comic Con and Cat Cafe, and a duplicate, Magic Academy.

Out of six total blind boxes I have purchased, I have five unique figures.

I think I'll stop now. It's not worth the price-per-pop to keep trying for a Bubble Tea or the roller-skating one.

Cool! Let’s see ‘em!!
Since you have five different ones, perhaps you can confirm what I read, that there are differing weights; someone on Reddit said you could tell what was in the box by the weight and there was a list of their observations.

Making eBay listings is a huge hassle and so time-consuming. I don’t know how people do it who have hundreds of items. Postage costs too much to ship, and most of the market is gone without being able to ship to the states.

Good idea. I'd read that, too, but I haven't seen any "numbers" listed.

Well, I've seen worse placements of ladders, but someone's going up the wrong side, methinks LOL

A-Frame Ladder

Janie (screen right) wishes to inform our audience that both she and Trivia (screen left) are well-aware of how to climb a ladder. She adds that this is an A-frame ladder that can be climbed with equal effectiveness and safety from either side.

The audience does not posess an "A-frame ladder" and was unaware both sides were equally narrow.
Anyway, fun perspective.

Weight, Weight, Don't Tell Me

Online sources suggest that the "blind box" Zuru Starbox Minnee Dolls can be identified by the weight of the package.

Here are my measurements based on the examples I've acquired thus far:

002 Candy Couture (pictured) - 238g

005 Magic Academy - 237g

006 Cat Cafe - 244g

007 Comic Con 243g

009 Winter Boutique Gold Variant - 240g

I have noticed conflicting weights posted online. My measurements are not always in alignment with numbers I've seen online. I suspect any differences are more a result of scale accuracy than of variations in doll mass.

The containers in which the Zuru Starbox Minnee Dolls are packaged may be utilized as display boxes for the figures. Each figure includes a clear plastic stand.

Curvy Li'l Co-Ed

The Zuru Starbox Minnee Dolls exhibit a not altogether immature level of physical development.

The screen printing of the eyes, while adequately convincing when viewed from a distance, exhibits a lack of detail on closer inspection.

The rooted hair is fairly thick and full, but tends to be unruly at such a small scale. The dolls are only 10cm / 4 inches tall.

Size Comparison

Vance Project Pinky:st figure and Zuru Starbox Minnee Doll.

Same size, different proportions.

This is what I wanted to know, hence my investment in a few Zuru Starbox Minnee Dolls.

Zuru Starbox Minnee Doll No. 07 Comic Con

This might be the most detailed of the Starbox Minnee Dolls I've yet opened.

In addition to the usual two-part costume, shoes, bracelets, and handbag, this detailed little figure includes eyeglasses, a shopping bag with "comic con" graphics, a miniature plastic "plushie" toy, a miniature plastic magazine, and a convention ID card on a lanyard. Her hair is tied in two tight buns on the sides of her head, which considerably reduces the wild stray hair issue that plagues other dolls in this line.

So nice to see some photos!
They are pretty cute. Did you find the plastic clothes hard to get on? I saw an unboxing video somewhere, where they ended up taking off the doll's head to get her shirt on, or something... it was a while ago. But they seemed to be having a lot of trouble with it.
So even tinier than a mini Pullip... hard to get my brain around the scale. Maaayyyybee, I might take a chance on one sometime if I get waylaid in one of my not-going-to-buy-anything wanders down a toy aisle. Out there in the world. Where they have stores with toy aisles.
Sigh.

The clothes are tiny, and I briefly considered rummaging around for some tweezers, which might have made things easier, but ultimately it wasn't too difficult. I popped the head off one of them. The heads pop off with almost no effort. The hands are removable, too, just like a 1/6-scale fashion doll. They're impressively designed little things.

This is so cute. She looks quite absorbed. Are you the girls going to be done before the snow flies??

I wonder if there are any clothes out there that would fit the Minnees. Probably have to make something.

I hope we will be done but probably not.   Dead

I've read that some Polly Pocket pieces fit Minnees.
