Dune is a rewigged Chōsokabe Motochika, the Sengoku Basara Taeyang. I thought I'd feature him for the Doll of the Week photo on Flickr this week.

I was ready for another mostly useless set of Sengoku Basara Stock, but his actually isn't too bad at all. The knee pads come off the pants with just a few snips, revealing a nice pair of brocade pants. Combined with the jacket and sashes, it makes a decent outfit. It doesn't hurt that I like the color purple. I added a collar and some cuffs made from flat floral wire in a brushed gold color. I'll probably trade his wig at some point, but at least he doesn't have to wear his stock one.

he is gorgeous. I don't remember even looking at him before. I'm with you on the stock as well, with the faceup and hair colour he is a delight.

I like that wig you have Dune wearing! I rewigged my Motochika in a dark purple wig, but I think it might be too dark for him. Maybe I should rethink selling the stock outfit...

Wow, he's so cool looking! I love what you did to him! smile There was just too much going on with his complete outfit, and it kind of made it really hard to see what a handsome guy he really is.

Thanks all! KiraKira, I thought these photos might help you sell your outfit! He does have fierce eyebrows, but that can be obscured by the right wig. This wig is a Leeke one in gray lavender that I got during one of those DDE sales where you pick the size, they pick the styles and colors.

Wow o.O What a handsome boy. He is much better looking than his stock photos, and the wig is much nicer too. Better not show my girls. They might get drooly. Daesani especially, given their supposed Samurai connection LOL

He looks amazing, loving the eye make up. Also the brocade pants have gorgeous pattern and colour to them.

He definitely looks a bit more manly than the average Taeyang. I kinda liked him in the stock photos, but this is better. Nicely done photos.
