Super Bowl Sunday Surf Session 2023:

In a more or less annual tradition, the Pinky Street Crew have been hitting the surf, or the nearest equivalent, every year on Super Bowl Sunday since 2006.

That's a seventeen year tradition, kids!

This year, sadly, the weather is simply not cooperating: overcast skies, rain squalls, and wind gusts up to 40 mph / 65 kph. The next best thing to surfing is... well, probably skateboarding, but that's out, too, so the Crüe is hanging out at the local hole-in-the-wall surf shop instead, swapping exaggerated stories and arguing about breaks, boards, and boys.

Cute! What a fun tradition. They look like they're having a great time. And I enjoyed looking through all the photos yet again... although it's sad how everybody who commented has disappeared
