Oh dang. I never thought.
Smart Dolls: like GI Joe for the 21st Century!
Contrary to reports I have seen online, I have found Smart Dolls to be sturdy and scratch resistant. The "cocoa" dolls are supposedly prone to scratching easily, but I have not thus far had an issue despite a number of "face plants," some intentional but most not. Nor have I had a problem with broken wrist or elbow joints, which is another frequently reported issue.
I recently discovered dark chocolate, caramel, and sea salt candy bars at a nearby market. Next time I am there I shall stock up and then we shall have an "Alliecat Party!"

This time it worked out better for Addie, yes.
27 September - A Doll A Day 2021:
27 Smartember - Janie shows Addie how to accomplish a makeshift field repair using
chewing gum and baling wire, just like in the old days.

"Is this really gonnna work?"
"Just you watch and see!"
