Whoa, wait, where do those tentacles come from? :O

I love that blue outfit, and it goes so well with her hair. The way the geisha doll/figure is positioned (kimono, fan, arms), she looks like she's moving. It's wonderful!

that was a traditional Japanese display doll of the variety that was often presented from one family to another during special events and the like,
though i'm not so sure if that is so commonly done anymore.

i found her at my local GOODWILL for around $20 a couple/three years ago, and i snatched her up the moment i saw her.

the blue/white Victorian style dress was cribbed off of a roughly 1/6 scaled porcelain doll back in the early-2000's.
it was originally reworked for my first ever Anime Doll, TOYNAMI's 2001 "Tenchi Muyo!" Ayeka Masaki Jurai,
and then eventually reworked once more for my second girl, TSUKUDA HOBBY's late-90's 1/5-ish "Mamotte Shugogetten" Shaorin,
complete with Victorian-style undergarments, and it has remained her dress since...

Beautiful girls, that Geisha is lovely, what a wonderful tradition.

so, i ended up settling on a look for Konomi that pays homage to my favorite Anime Maid of nearly twenty years now, Mahoro Ando of "Mahorormatic" fame;

some extensive modifications just made to the Cardcaptor Sakura costume Yuki Nagato wears. originally cut for a vintage TAKARA JENNY "Licca" body,
it now fits more naturally on a modern OBITSU 24/26;

Konomi-chan drastically benefits from an upgrade to the OBITSU BODY 26cm.

This is a nice improvement. She appears much more realistically scaled now.
