Aw, he's cute!
Congrats on the new canine arrivals! How tall is Basil?

Vincent Price as Sherlock Holmes would have been glorious!

No, no, that's the leatherette bag that ResinSoul put their dolls in as packaging. He also had a white blanket thing there.

I just am sitting going WHY DID THAT NEVER HAPPEN

The resin color looks nice and so does the blushing! Have you become addicted to resins after the first dose? I certainly have...

Thank you!

I ... may be putting aside for another one...

I'd say he's about 7-8".

306: Making Himself At Home

So Basil found himself an outfit to keep warm. I think he's making himself right at home, now.
He looks really comfy in there! Looking forward to seeing more of him!
He certainly does look like he's comfy. I wonder how he will get on with the rest of the inhabitants of the room.

Particularly the large feline population!
Is Basil a basset hound? Just because, y'know, Basil the Basset sounds so alliterative.

His flannel shirt looks comfortable and casually stylish.

And in today's photo I can see that the zipper bag looks more like a purse than a coffin. The space age metallic cushion is pretty cool, reminding me of a padded acceleration couch from the early days of space flight. . Maybe Basil should actually be called Laika, which would be appropriate since tomorrow marks the 62nd anniversary of the orbital flight of Laika the Space Dog.

In a completely unrelated tangent, as though this comment were not sufficiently tangential already, did you ever get around to seeing the Addams Family animated film?

Comfort is always the name of the game around here.

Dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria!

I ... am not actually sure on what type of dog he is. Huh, I will double check up on that. The shirt is actually from a Ken doll, I think. Just a random charity store pick up a while back.

I did not actually, it's only recently been released in the UK (25th Nov) and I just haven't had the spare money to go to the cinema

On this side of the shelf? Things are a bit more relaxed
I love the blue-haired girls!
No spare money for the cinema; one of the hazards of venturing in to the world of resin BJDs.

So this is the Meddling Kids Korner of the shelf, eh? They look to be a territorial group. I would be hesitant to venture on to their turf.
Basil looks more beagle to me. The ears are too short for a basset.j

Basil the Beagle sounds nearly as good as Basil the Basset!

Blue haired dolls seem to be a bit of a weakness of mine. And possibly others on this forum.

One of the hazards of coming up for Giftmas.

Well, Romana is there, so that might help a little....

Oh, that's a very good point!

Fetch has a favourite Star Wars character. Any idea who it might be?

(Fun fact, I got this figure from a charity shop - in that I was literally just given her as a thank you for helping sort out the pile of SW figures they were handed in)
That's a cute story about how you got her! I would have guessed she's from Star Wars if I weren't already told, but other than that...
Ahsoka Tano!

There are reasons she became a fan favorite.   slash

(And why in later incarnations they gave her more clothes.)

See, I told you Fetch looked like an Ewok!
