These are really fun to browse. You can "hear" the party atmosphere, and I know it takes a lot of time to pose a lot of dolls. All the little vignettes make it feel like one is really in the middle of the party.
The 2nd one made me smile. I dunno, she looks like she's concentrating really hard there... like maybe she's had enough >hic< already...

Grey... yeah. Thanks to my borked-up schedule, some days I get TWO HOURS of daylight. I feel like I live in Arctic latitudes. It's terrible, but since the quiet time is at night, I stay up all night

I have so many I can't even remember. I'd largely forgotten I had these little "knights" until I ran across them in a storage tub a couple of weeks ago.
I believe this one last appeared about a year ago in A Doll A Day (in a pictured oh-so-cleverly titled "Knight Before Christmas") and was subsequently forgotten.

I have been looking at some impressive amateur stop-motion films on Youtube that were made in back yards using toy figures.

I don't think I'd have the patience for the animation work. But it would be fun!

It's a ton of work when you're not doing stop-motion. I always find the music the hardest part -- the right piece, the right length, the right match for the scenes. But it is fun.

I loved the novels by Eleanor Cameron when I was young(er). Her best are the "Mushroom Planet" series.

Low-key holiday this year. And serious A Doll A Day burnout.
