Thanks everyone!

Well, they do photograph OK but sometimes I'm not sure till I download the photos, because the display screen on the cameras, especially the little one, can't always handle it and makes it look like it's just gone to a neon blob

Wow, what a change 4 years has brought. When we began this thread Sunsette was my only Pullip. Now she is the head of a whole big crew!
So finally I'm starting to sort out the photos from our trip to PUDDLE in June. There are a lot so this story will take a while. Here is Part 1...
June 21
"OK, last time we were at this airport we sat here for five hours. Please don't let the plane break again."
It did not. On our way.
"Wheee! We get our own seat?!"
First stop, Toronto. Lookit all those lanes of highway. Ugh.
We sat for 2 hours in Toronto because of Chicago weather and because Air Canada couldn't figure out which gate our plane was at. Really.
On our way again.
Some cool light approaching Chicago.
The hotel that can't even get its door key-cards to work, thinks it can control the weather? Riiiiighhhtttt...
June 22
Made some new friends already, including one who will be coming home with us.
Dawn doing her best to sell PTFCo merch. Well, the calendar, anyway.
Another new friend!
Ready for the big day.
"Mum said wardrobe would take too long in the morning, so like many sailors, we slept in our clothes..."
More to come...

A seat for the dolls! I don't know when was the last time I was on a flight that wasn't fully booked. Actually, overbooked. The norm now seems to be loading the plane, then asking for volunteers to give up their spaces because the flight is overbooked.
PUDDLE seems to be quite the impressive shindig, getting bigger every year!
I find it interesting that you got your first Pullip only four years ago, and now you travel long distances, often at considerable inconvenience, to attend the annual Pullip convention. That definitely identifies you as a True Fan!

Looking forward to seeing more of the weekend's photos.
I like the one in the plane with their own seat

Thank you both Yes, I never would've believed I'd be travelling to doll conventions either -- but what fun to meet with others who appreciate the hobby I think there's only one "True Fan" though
I was glad to have some more room on that flight too.
Part 2 -- The Big Day
All dressed up and ready to party. Photo by Joshua Armstrong, shared with permission.
"Hey, it's us!"
"Victoria is one of us too!"
Dawn putting her sword to good use.
"OK, we didn't eat the corner out of the cake last year, and we're not responsible for this big crack either."
"We asked mum for one of these. Do you think she'll get us one...?"
"Some other stuff we saw..."
How cute is this. "When I grow up I want to be in the Coast Guard."
This handsome couple made me almost want a Taeyang
Everybody was so creative.
"Yes!! We get to take it home!!!"

"Um... this might be a bit supersized for us...?"
Hanging out with friends again.
"It's over already?"
Our two new family members.
More adventures to come...

Your "marketing efforts" for PUDDLE are very convincing! It looks like a fun time!
And yes, that "Coast Guard" diorama is great!

Is "Dollchemy" an event? What is it and where is it? The only "Dollchemy" I'm familiar with is the now-defunct forum, the loss of which drove me here to Dolly Market.

Whoops, I meant DOLLINQUENCY. It is a fashion doll/BJD/Blythe/Pullip and Friends doll convention in Minnesota:
