Holy cow, how many mega giga peta fazillia-bytes do you have??? You must have very large photo files. I back up each batch as I go now. I don't know how long is "normal", and it would depend on individual systems. Sounds like you need to put it on overnight and go off to bed!
I recently had to reinstall Adobe Reader, the "simple" free one, and it took something like 2.5 hours to download it. Is THAT normal? That's how bad my internet is, at any rate. I finally gave up waiting and walked to the grocery store. Still wasn't done when I got back.
Maybe get the Smart Dolls on the job!

There were about 1300 GB, which is suppose is 1.3 terrabytes. It's done now, finally.

That’s a lot of big photos!!
What a pretty shot. I love the blue and gold lighting, and how the gold in the background complements her outfit.

The color coordination was a fortunate effect of the late afternoon sun.

Plonk
.
Bratz Yasmin got volunteered to demonstrate plonking, or dolly plonking, on a frozen lily pond.
"Plonk" means to unceremoniously set down or drop something. "To put something down heavily and without taking care" says the Cambridge Dictionary Online.
The term "plonk" or "plonk shot" has come in to use among wristwatch photographers on Instagram who post photos carefully staged so as to appear casual and random. "Nice plonk" is the standard response to such shots.
In this photo, Bratz Yasmin has been "plonked" on to a frozen pond.
#dollplonk or #dollyplonk should become Instagram hashtags, don't you agree?

OK, I don’t care about Instagram, but I thought upon reading the first sentence that Dolly Plonking needs to be a wider challenge!

Too far west and too far south. Forecast says 50% chance of up to a half inch (about a centimeter) of snow. But cooooold at night starting Saturday and continuing through at least Tuesday.

Very cute pic.
I looked up that neat Vespa. Well those prices are all over the place, Better not let my 1/6 gang see that or they'll want one to match the minis'.
I've since seen a weather map. As a reluctant resident of the Great White North I'm always amused when 6" of snow amounts to armageddon. But of course I know that people in more southerly latitudes are not used to driving in snow, so even a couple inches causes chaos.
Hope it's not bad where you are, TrueFan.

I purchased my first 1/6-scale Vespa, the version without a sidecar, specifically for the Pullip girls (with the understanding they might share it with Monster High) from an import toy store called Toys 'n' Joys in Kaimuki on Oahu near the foot of Diamond Head. I used to make special trips about twice a year to Kaimuki to hit the specialty toy store and the comic book shops. I remember the Vespa cost $20.00 and I was uneasy spending the money. I found the sidecar version some time later, I don't remember where, and I believe it cost $40.00.
Prices have increased. Parcel shipping costs have increased to the point where purchasing or selling large items like 1/6-scale vehicles is no longer feasible, or at least not for me.
The brief flurry of flakes that fell here today and did not last barely qualifies as snow. It was kind of disappointing. I would at least like to have seen the ground get covered. Plus, I want to try out the new Subaru "Wilderness Edition" Forester in the snow!

Aw, nostalgia... Kaimuki isn't far from where I lived that winter (Mo'ili'ili). Would have enjoyed toy shops probably, but I wasn't into dolls at that point.
Shipping costs are atrocious. eBay's started doing some kind of subsidized thing with Canada Post where you can buy a label through your account and the price is ridiculously cheaper. (Why then does Cda Post need to charge so much if it "can" be shipped for that much less?...hmmmm...) I've sent the last 2 items that way although it takes them weeks to claw the shipping back out of my bank account despite my having bought the label within a few hours from the pending funds. Anyway, cheaper but still enough to put off many buyers, I'm sure. I look at items all the time that don't have bad prices, but, when I see the shipping cost, forget it. Like, I'm not paying $27 for shipping for a CD!
I would happily send you all our snow. Blaaah. It gets old, really.
Fun adventurous pix of Amelia!

Near the Ala Wai Canal! And McCully Street! McCully Chop Suey! (I never went there, but McCully Chop Suey was sort of a local landmark in the area.)

Yep, corner of Date and Kapiolani. [How the heck does phone dictation get that right and not basic other words??]
Very sad to think I may not get back to Hawai’i again unless certain things change significantly
This is also cute and colourful.

I looked up my (former) house in Hawaii on Zillow last night.
Probably shouldn't have done that.
It sold last March, ten months ago, for a MILLION DOLLARS MORE than I sold it for.
I'm so depressed I can barely stand it. Not because of the money I "missed out on," but because I can never afford to go back.
I hate myself so much right now.
