I have never removed the stock outfits myself, but most of these (all except one) were purchased pre-owned. One had the eye chips replaced, but the previous owner saved the originals so I was able to restore her eyes. I have misplaced one set of goggles and one green handbag. I'm sure I must have those parts around here somewhere. I do not think I purchased any incomplete Amelia dolls. I'm hoping to run across the missing pieces when (not "if," but "when") I finally get around to doing a thorough sort and re-org on my dolly supplies. 3 February - A Doll A Day 2026: . ![]() That's a wrap! One dozen and we're done!
. A collection featuring three percent of the entire "limited edition" production run of the 2016 Pullip Amelia doll. . Also - HAPPY SPRING! Today marks the astronomical mid-point between the winter solstice and the vernal equinox, or Imbolc (Candlemas), celebrated in ancient times as the changing of the seasons.

Spring, come quickly!
I have several beautiful arrow heads my father found in Tennessee.

Hahaha, that was such a fun set of photos.
Great last(??) pic. Now I want to see them having some more adventures together. I was reading about Imbolc the other day. It was painted as "the bottom of the [seasonal] wheel". Boy, I've been on the Bottom Of The Wheel for what feels like forever. It's not gonna be spring here for months yet, and I'm similarly doubtful whether there is hope for the wheel turning in a positive direction for me in general

Is that why Groundhog's day is on February 2?

They’re cute. I absolutely could not stand leaving them in boxes. Anybody comes in here is straight out of the box as soon as the package is opened. Unless there is something pressing going on and I want to take time later to enjoy it.
7 February - A Doll A Day 2026:
. ![]() LEGO Friends Kate and Stephanie . Do LEGO figures count as "dolls" for A Doll A Day? Well, these little figures feature articulation at the shoulders, waist, and neck, they have hands capable of holding items, and LEGO refers to the Friends figures as "mini dolls" rather than "mini figs," so... YES!

Can you believe today marks the TWENTIETH ANNIVERSARY of the annual (except for the years we've missed) Pinky Street Super Bowl Sunday Surfing Adventure? I can't. When I think about Super Bowl Sunday, I think about walking out my front door on to a sunny beach on the North Shore. Yes, that North Shore. The surfing capital of the world North Shore. Today, when I turn around from where I'm sitting, I'm shocked back to bitter reality. There is no beach outside my front door anymore. There hasn't been for ten years. But that's my issue to deal with, not yours. This year there are no waves for surfing, or at least not where we live now, and no snow for snowboarding, so the Pinky Street Super Bowl Sunday Surfing Adventure 2026 is something of a bust. . ![]() It's quite appalling to think how much time has passed since this, or that. I just noted on my calendar the other night that it has been 7 years since I headed off to Hawai'i for the 2nd time. How??? Sigh. |
