I'm three hours from Chicago too, but in the other direction Just promise me you guys will do a Chicago meet like once a year so I can still see you from time to time (like crane counting and Mitsuwa ). I would say it's a shame you have all have moved so far away (the ones who have moved) but I know it's because your lives are actually going pretty awesome, so I'm happy for everyone Take lots of pics at the meet!

We will definitely do a Ren Faire meet this summer - that's worth a four-hour drive to me!

As to bubble tea, there used to be a place in Champaign, at least when I was in grad school.

Champaign is 90 minutes from me so if that works better for everyone, it is doable for me and bubble tea is by no means a necessity, I just like tea and bubble tea

Ok, we can tentatively plan for that then! the 26th/27th is my birthday weekend and also I might have a military class so the weekend after that works best for me (the poll is tied right now).

Ack, sorry, I've been busy.

There are LOTS of places with bubble tea in Champaign. Spoon House (a Korean restaurant) has great bubble tea. And there are plenty of other places for us to meet and take photos, too, if you both are fine with coming to Champaign!

I don't know anything about Bloomington but I think one of my friends is from that area. I'll ask her for recommendations if we decide to do Bloomington instead.

All right, I changed the title of this thread to reflect our current destination.

I also want to point out that I'm on the lookout for wigs for three different dolls, if anyone has anything they want to sell.

1. Melissa - preferably similar to her stock style, though I'm up for trying anything
2. Another Queen - preferably blonde or black
3. custom Cardea - must be dark brown and long-ish (Pullip waist length or longer) - especially if it has no bangs and is heat-resisting fiber so I can curl the ends! Her current wig is an Alte stock wig and it badly needs to be replaced.

Oooh this sounds fun! ^^ I live in St.Louis, so its about a three hour drive for me which I don't mind too much. I've been meaning to make an antique run up that way anyways. Are people splitting hotel rooms since it looks like it's two days?

We'll probably pick one day and make a full day of it. We all live close enough that it works out best that way ^^ though it looks like you're closer to me, as I'm in Springfield! I didn't know there was anyone in the STL area!

Ahh okay! I was just up that way for Christmas! ^^ I just started collecting pullips fairly recently, but I've been collecting ponies for about two years now and MH for about a year. On from one addiction to the next and they keep getting more eensive XD Now I'm thinking Pukifees are cute...Don't let me buy any BJDs!

Yes, please let us know! of course Champaign works better for me (because I live there) but if Bloomington is better for you, it's hardly too far out of my way.

And like sceimhiuil says, we will pick one date out of the two and make a day out of it. So don't worry about a hotel room.
