Nim is displeased (and rebodied!)
#1
Nim? Where are you?

"I'm not coming out."

Oh, come on. That wig was terrible!

"Do you know how cold it is?"

I know, I'm sorry. But I figured I'd just take off your wig while I was changing your body so we could get it all done at once, even though your new wig is still in the mail.

"You're impatient, and patience in magic work is key! You're a terrible sorceress."

I'm not a sorceress.

"Well, I will be, and a better one than you."

That is undoubtedly true.

"Now, go away, I'm reading."

Enjoy your book, Nim. Sweatdrop

Nim's new Obitsu body got here! I made her a hybrid and left the chest plate of the stock body, but I actually think the Obitsu white is a better match for the blushing on her face! I made and stained her bed and nightstand in the last week. I also did her mattress, pillow, and sheets. I'm working on a crocheted comforter right now. yay

Aww! How cute! I feel a bit sorry for poor Nim, though! ^^; I'm sure she'll absolutely love you and will be happy once she gets her wig and body though!

Poor Nim! She needs a hat. grin I love her little bed, it's adorable! I really want to make one for my Bianca. (Although I did just buy her a re-ment kotatsu so she could stay cozy for the rest of the winter). She has a new obitsu body on its way too. smile

It's so embarrassing to be exposed part way through one's makeover! Severity, I recently got the Re-ment Rika whatever bear kotatsu. It's really cute!

Of course! I took some more pictures to show the construction. Sorry my photos are all cell-phone pics, I don't have another camera. Sweatdrop

I made the head and footboards from leftover dollhouse wood- you can buy wood shapes like these at craft stores though. And then the frame and nightstand are popsicle sticks I cut the curved ends off of. I used hot glue to bind everything together, and for paint I took some dark gray acrylic and watered it down a lot so it acted more like a stain.

The mattress and pillow are made from old curtains, polyfill, and black beads. I hand sewed everything because I find the machine to be more troublesome than it's worth with such small stuff! The sheet, fitted sheet, and pillowcase are also from old curtains. LOL

Now that is a clever idea.
Cute furniture. And as someone who detests sewing, I do admire all this hand-sewn and TINY stuff!
